Jeremiah 13:15-17

¹⁵ Listen and give ear, do not be ^(A)haughty,
For Yahweh has spoken.
^16 (B)Give glory to Yahweh your God,
Before He brings ^(C)darkness
And before your ^(D)feet ^[a]stumble
On the dusky mountains;
And while you are hoping for light,
He makes it into the ^(E)shadow of death
And turns it into dense gloom.
¹⁷ But ^(F)if you will not listen to it,
My soul will ^(G)cry in secret for such pride;
And my eyes will bitterly weep
And flow down with tears
Because the ^(H)flock of Yahweh has been taken captive.
